Pool Protection System

Student: Nicholas Lynch

District/Region: Chignecto Central Region

Event: 2009 Canada-Wide Science Fair

Grade 9 - Truro Junior High School

The aim of my project was to construct a way to help save the lives of people that fall into pools.

To do so I constructed two circuits, the first using a laser trip wire and the second an infrared detection system. I then took this to circuits and put them into a field test situation to see how they would perform in real life.
