Driving time is increasingly viewed as 'unproductive time,' and is used as an opportunity for accomplishing other tasks, such as talking on a hand-held cellular telephone.

Hand-held cellular telephone use while driving is banned in Nova Scotia. This study investigates the compliance rate of Nova Scotia Drivers to the law banning hand-held cellular telephone use while driving.
