Seed Freeze is a scientific experiment that examines the effect of moisture and freezing temperatures on the germination of different plant seeds.

The author hypothesized that when seeds are subjected to freezing temperatures and a combination of high moisture and freezing temperatures, the ability of the seeds to germinate would not be affected. The results indicated that the germination rates of different types of seeds were lowered slightly when they were subjected to freezing temperatures and to a greater degree when subjected to wet conditions followed by freezing. These results have practical implications for the storage and handling of seeds.
