Max VO2 vs. Resting Heart Rates

Student: Mitchell Hanna

District/Region: Cape Breton-Victoria Region

Event: 2010 Canada-Wide Science Fair

Grade 10 - Riverview High School.

This project performs a study to see if there is a direct relationship between a person's max VO2 (the maximum volume of oxygen that can be consumed when exercising at a maximum capacity) and his/her resting heart rate.

It observes how max VO2 and resting heart rates are different from males to females and from elite teenage athletes to average high school athletes.
