Sissonne: The relation between knee angle and impact force

In this project, I explore the possible relation between the impact force and bend angle of the knee during the landing of a sissonne, a ballet jump that starts from two feet and lands on one. Young, non-professional, female dancers were asked to jump on a force plate with varying angles of the knee as they land. Force data was recorded from a force plate and knee angles were analyzed from videos taken of the jumps.
