Study of Canard Configuration under Low Airspeed conditions and Its Applications

Grade 12 - Horton High School

This project did a brief study on canard configuration, in order to find the factors that affect the minimum stalling speed which is significant to the performance of an aircraft. An ideal design was generated based on the results of the study, applied on a Boeing 777-200 model and tested with X-plane 9.67 program. The minimum stalling speed of the aircraft has been significantly lowered compare to the initial model under the same conditions.
