The Heat Harness

Event: 2004 Canada-Wide Science Fair

Geoffrey Mason, 15, is from Mill Village, Nova Scotia. For his science fair project at South Queens Junior High, he demonstrated that it may be possible to harness energy created when two surfaces are at different temperatures.

Geoffrey won a silver medal for his project, and participated in the Canada-Wide Science Fair in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. Geoffrey hopes to continue to do more research on this project and discover new ways to produce energy.

He's one of Nova Scotia's young scientists, and one of tomorrow's innovators. Congratulations, Geoffrey!
