eyeScale: A Food Recognition System

There are currently many services that allow users to track their calorie intakes and record their calorie burning activities; this is rather ineffective however, since people find it hard to get in the habit of reporting their diet. This project focuses on a way of monitoring diet that does not require manual data entry, by using a webcam, a Bluetooth scale and some custom software.
