Don't Bug Me - Viral and Bacterial Infections

Event: 2013 Canada-Wide Science Fair

Grade 12 - We'koqmaq First Nation Secondary School

People are aware that viruses/bacteria are transmitted through human and surface contact. This project explores perceptions people had about how viruses and bacteria were contracted in relation to illness. The hypothesis is that adults have a better understanding of how viruses/ bacteria are contracted. The results of the exploration supported that adults were more confident in their understanding of bacterial and viral contraction.
