C.A.R.- Controllable Autonomous Robot

Student: Arash Marzi

District/Region: Strait District

Event: 2007 Canada-Wide Science Fair

Arash is a student at St. Andrew Junior School. For his science fair project, Arash used innovative computer programming techniques coupled with simple components to mobilize a defective remote control car.

His conclusion: using simple components like LED lights, sound and safety sensors along with programming using the language of nqBasic, the defective car could be renewed.

Arash earned a Silver Medal in Computing and Information Technology and a University of Western Ontario Scholarship at the 2007 Canada-Wide Science Fair in Truro. Arash is a young Nova Scotian celebrating science and discovery. Congratulations Arash!
