Big Lungs? Big People?

Student: Eamonn Sullivan

Event: 2007 Canada-Wide Science Fair

Eamonn is a student at King's-Edgehill School and his project studied lung capacity and how it effects performance and fitness.

During Basketball season he became interested in performance and fitness and wondered why some players can perform better and more efficiently. He tested his teamís lung capacity and his results proved his hypothesis. Big people have larger lungs.

Eamonn's project earned a Petro-Canada Peer Innovation Award at the 2007 Canada-Wide Science Fair in Truro. He is a young Nova Scotian celebrating science and discovery. Congratulations Eamonn!
