A Healthy Alternative to Road Salt

Salt is spread excessively on roads throughout Canada in winter. This causes damage to the surrounding environment.

An ash/salt combination has shown to be more effective in terms of functionality (melting, traction), environmental impact (toxicity and fertilizing characteristics) and cost efficiency (corrosion and production).
