Student: Jessica Johnson [17/F]

District/Region: Tri-County District

Event: 2006 Canada-Wide Science Fair

Jessica is a student at St. Mary’s Bay Academy in Weymouth, N.S. For her science fair project, she tested whether products like toothpaste and mouthwash could affect a breathalyser.

She took her experiment to the 2006 Canada-Wide Science Fair. Jessica says she finds biology a very interesting area to study and plans to attend university for an accounting or business degree. She's one of Nova Scotia's young scientists and tomorrow's innovators. Congratulations, Jessica!
